DRAMA / PERFORMANCE FACILITATOR: TEACHING OPPORTUNITY
This is a freelance role and will be paid at a blended rate to reflect the work undertaken.
Jersey Heritage and ArtHouse Jersey are working in partnership to plan, devise and deliver a range of educational opportunities to celebrate Liberation Day 2025. This is a great opportunity for actors to gain experience through the delivery of a student workshop. For more experienced educators it is an opportunity to develop existing skills and participate in a collaborative project. The project commences in 2025 where you will be supported to plan your workshop and deliver it between 28 April 2025 and 12 May.
You must be a practicing actor, drama specialist or performer to apply for this role who is educated to degree level or higher. Our ideal Artist Educator is someone who is friendly and approachable with good interpersonal and communication skills. Artists must be interested in working in an educational setting. An interest in process and experiential learning is key. The candidate must be keen to develop their teaching skills.Experience delivering workshops or working with young people is desired. A positive and reliable attitude is required for this role.
