ArtHouse Jersey launches new 'Open Studios'

ArtHouse Jersey is pleased to announce the launch of its Open Studios programme where we offer artists the opportunity to hold pop-up weekend exhibitions at our new headquarters at the Greve de Lecq Barracks. The first exhibition will take place on the weekend of Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May, with further shows on the weekends of 25-26 July and 7-8 November.

All artists are being encouraged to apply, whether they’re painters, printmakers, sculptors, ceramicists, photographers, performers or filmmakers. A large number of entries are expected and artists will be selected based on their body of work, career plan and demonstrated commitment and professionalism.Artists are more than welcome to share and co-host events, showing their work with other artists. This may help in reaching out to different audiences, sharing the workload and offering a visual balance within the studio space.Any artist interested in applying should contact Fenby Miskin (fenby@arts.je) who will respond with an application form, a studio & site plan, and terms & conditions. Fenby will be delighted to respond to any questions artists might have.The deadline for expressions of interest in the first exhibition is Sunday 15 March.
